30 Years Ago - 1993 Weird Al released his eighth album Alapalooza.
The album included seven original songs and three parody ones.
Some of the originals were stylistic parodies of AC/DC and R.E.M.
The parodies included a nod to "MacArthur Park" and The Red Hot Chili Peppers.
"Jurassic Park" was a claymation video
A tribute to The Flintstones, "Bedrock Anthem" parodied "Under the Bridge" and "Give It Away" even down to the videos on the latter.
