1992 The soundtrack to Wayne's World: Music from the Motion Picture was released. The album contained "Bohemian Rhapsody" from Queen, which charted at #2 higher than it's original 1975-76 run of #9. The video was a mix of the original video and clips from the movie. Mike Myers fearing that this would upset the band said, "they've just whizzed on a Picasso." He asked the record company to tell Queen that the video was not his idea and that he apologised to them. The band, though, sent a reply simply saying, "Thank you for using our song." This astonished Myers, who responded, "Thank you for even letting me touch the hem of your garments!"
The line "We're not worthy" does come to mind!
If you saw the movie about Queen Bohemian Rhapsody, Mike Myers makes a brilliant cameo.
