1991 Hammer released his fourth album Too Legit to Quit. Singles were "2 Legit 2 Quit" (#5 #3 R&B #4 Rap #1 Dance Club), "Addams Groove" was his last top ten hit in the United States and was the recipient of the Golden Raspberry Award for Worst Original Song at the 12th Golden Raspberry Awards in 1991. (#7), "Do Not Pass Me By" (#62 #15 R&B), and "This Is the Way We Roll" (#86 #20 R&B.)
