It was a hit!! The Simpsons started in 1989 as a full-fledged show after shorts were aired on The Tracy Ullman Show.

"Do the Bartman" made #24 on the Hot 100. That is Michael Jackson on backing vocals..

"Deep, Deep Trouble" made #69
