35 Years Ago - 1988 The Escape Club released their seconddebut album Wild Wild West.

The title track was the first single and was a #1 hit. (#3 Modern Rock #36 Club.)

It also made them the only British artist to have a No. 1 hit in the United States while never charting in the UK.

The follow-up single was "Shake for the Sheik" peaking at #28.
