1988 - Rattle and Hum - U2

35 Years Ago - 1988 U2 released their sixth album Rattle and Hum.

It was a companion to their rockumentary film of the same name.

Four singles were released including "Desire" which became their first UK #1. It won a Grammy Award for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal. In America, it reached #3, #1 Album Rock Track & Modern Rock Tracks, #37 Club.

"Angel of Harlem" peaked at #14, #38 AC, #3 Alternative Airplay, and #1 Mainstream Rock.

"When Love Comes to Town" w/ B.B. King made #68, #10 Alternative Airplay, #2 Mainstream Rock.

"All I Want Is You" made #83, #13 Album Rock Tracks.
