35 Years Ago - 1988 Melissa Etheridge released her self-titled debut album.

The album mostly charted on the Mainstream Rock Tracks charts.

"Bring Me Some Water" #10, "Like the Way I Do" #28, "Similar Features" #6 and the only Hot 100 appearance #94, and "Chrome Plated Heart" #22.

Her appearance on the Grammy Awards is where I first heard of her, and immediately went out and bought her album. I was really blown away by her performances.
