"Holding Out For a Hero" was from the soundtrack of the 1984 movie Footloose.It peaked at #34 then. (a re-release in 1985 took it to #2 UK.
"If You Were a Woman (And I Was a Man)" was written by Desmond Child, who has stated that the song was rewritten as "You Give Love a Bad Name" with Bon Jovi after he was dissatisfied with the chart performance. It only peaked at #77.
