1986 The Pretenders released their fourth album Get Close. The album had three singles "Don't Get Me Wrong" (#10 #1 Mainstream Rock), "Hymn to Her" (not released in America), "My Baby" (#64 #1 Mainstream Rock).

The video for "Don't Get Me Wrong" is a spoof of The Avengers TV Show.
