1986 Aretha Franklin released her thirty first album Aretha. The third album with the same name. Singles released were "Jumpin' Jack Flash" (used in the film with Whoopi Goldberg and Mick and Ronnie from the Stone play on the track, it made #21), "Jimmy Lee" (#28 #2 R&B), "I Knew You Were Waiting (For Me)" (duet with George Michael and her second #1 and won a 1987 Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal #2 AC #12 Dance Club #5 R&B) "Rock-A-Lott" heavily sampled by the 49ers for "Touch Me"#82 #25 R&B #4 Dance), "If You Need My Love Tonight" (#88 R&B.)
