40 Years Ago - 1985 Katrina and the Waves released their third self-titled album.

Their first on a major label and the majority was re-mixed and overdubbed versions of songs from their first two albums.
"Walking on Sunshine" was completely redone and was a smash. It peaked at #9, #21 AC, #19 Club, #21 Mainstream Rock.
"Do You Want Crying" made #37.
"Que Te Quiero" made #71.
Note: There is a version of "Going Down to Liverpool" that was written by Kimberley Rew that became a Bangles hit.
Truth, I’ve never listen to this album, and “Do You Want Crying” is a great song, and I can understand how the record company wanted it as the first single. Samplers were sent to radio and “DJs said, "It's the "Sunshine" song because we can talk over the intro and it's got the right energy for summer."
