40 Years Ago - 1983 Asia released their second album Alpha.

The band feels that the sessions were too rushed as the record company wanted to capitalize on their success.

"Don't Cry" was the first single and made #10 on the Hot 100 and #1 Mainstream Rock.

"The Smile Has Left Your Eyes" was next making #34 and #25 on the Mainstream Rock chart.
