1981 Lindsey Buckingham from Fleetwood Mac released his first solo album Law and Order. Two singles were released, the hit "Trouble" with Mick Fleetwood on drums made #9 and #12 on Mainstream Rock, and "It Was I" which bubbled under the Hot 100 at 110.

Interesting note, Buckingham believed none of the takes were satisfactory from start to finish of a live sound he wanted, so a taped loop of the drum track (about four seconds long) was used throughout the song.
