1981 The Police released their fourth album Ghost in the Machine. Three American singles were released "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic" (#3 #1 Mainstream Rock), "Spirits in the Material World" (#11 #7 Mainstream Rock), and "Secret Journey" (#46 #25 Mainstream Rock.)
