50 Years Ago - 1972 Neil Diamond released his eighth album Moods. The first single was "Song Sung Blue" inspired by the second movement of Mozart's Piano Concerto #21 was a #1 Hot 100 and AC smash. "Play Me" was the second single, it went to #11 and #3 AC.
