1971 Badfinger released their fourth album Straight Up. First single "Day After Day" was a #4 hit (#10 Easy Listening) and was produced by George Harrison who played some slide guitar on the track, and also features Leon Russell on piano. The final mix was done by Todd Rundgren. Follow-up single "Baby Blue" made #14.
