12/26/25 - My #5 of the Year

Time to check out my personal top 5 of the year. I won’t sugarcoat it, I thought this year was weak musically, especially in dance music/. There were songs that were good, but ones that you couldn’t stop listening to were rare. There was no shared, or even a song that defined the summer. Worst summer ever for music.

If a song appeared inmy top 5 last year, it won't be here. APT by Rose and Joyride from Kesha hung around in the early part of the year. Still disappointed that there were never any remixes from Wicked.

At #5 - One of the bright spots came from DJ Sub Focus w/Katy B. "Push the Tempo" gets in your head and stays there! It was a #54 song in the UK and US #1 Dance Airplay in March.
