Did the person you're with text you and says, Can we talk? yesterday?? You were more likely to get dumped yesterday than any other day of the year.
December 11th was dubbed Breakup Day back in 2008 after someone analyzed Facebook status updates, and found a ton of people break up exactly two weeks before Christmas. It also found there tend to be more breakups on Mondays in general. So the 11th is a double-whammy this year.
Experts think there are a few reasons for it: The holidays are stressful . . . you might be having second thoughts about the person meeting your family . . . and a surprising number of us will break up just to get out of buying someone a gift.
Turning the calendar also represents a fresh start for a lot of people. So if things aren't going well, it may feel like a natural time to cut your losses and move on.

There's a guy on TikTok who makes videos where he cooks elaborate things in hotel bathrooms . . . but he just had a, quote, terrible idea.
He posted a video where he makes garlic shrimp inside the lavatory of a commercial airplane. He said he was lucky to get past security because the components to build the heating element might look like a bomb.
He used 6-volt batteries wired to an immersion beverage heater, and it got hot enough that the raw shrimp only needed a few minutes. He added instant mash to the shrimp water in the sink for extra flavor and topped it off with garlic butter.
Once everything was made, he tossed it into a complimentary barf bag and walked back to his seat to enjoy his meal.

Gatorland Orlando wants your help naming a baby alligator born with leucism, an extremely rare genetic variation that makes her all white but without the pink eyes of a gator with albinism. She is just the seventh-known living leucistic alligator, joining two others living at the park.

What if The Hunger Games was a real thing, right now . . . and every state was sending a pair of tributes to fight in the games?
If you've read the books or seen the movies you probably know the tributes are sent to the games dressed in outfits that are supposed to highlight their particular regions.
So somebody used A.I. to determine what Hunger Games tributes from each state in the U.S. would look like.
Arkansas sends two GINGERS for some reason.
Idaho's female tribute is wearing about 10 pounds of potatoes on her head.
Mr. North Dakota's horns are in a really bad place for inflicting damage.
The Wisconsin tributes covered in cheese squares?
Really A.I.??
New York is dressed in black and gold.
Pennsylvania looks like something from the Moors in a Bronte novel.

The writers wanted to give them a prize, but on the DVD commentary, they said they were STILL searching for them.
