There's a thread online where people are talking about the outdated tech they're still using . . . and they're still perfectly happy with. Here are a few of the best responses:

1. A notepad and pen.

2. Watches that just tell the time . . . maybe the date too.

3. A calculator, with buttons and a screen.

4. Physical media . . . DVDs, CDs, video games, books, textbooks, et cetera.

5. A lot of people mentioned previous video gaming systems.

6. A hand-crank can opener.

7. A motor-less lawnmower.

8. A radio.

9. Paper maps.

10. And one person said, "Call me crazy, but I still read by hand dipped candle light."

I did this on the show Tuesday. Leaving it as is. Did I guess right?

Jimmy Kimmel will announce "People" magazine's Sexiest Man Alive for 2023 on his show tonight. (so you know it won't be Matt Damon) Until then, here are some Sexiest Man Alive fun facts:

1. Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Johnny Depp, and Richard Gere are all TWO-TIME winners.

2. "People" didn't give out the award in 1994 . . . so in 2015, it was retroactively given to Keanu Reeves.

3. So far, Sean Connery is the oldest recipient. He was 59 when he won it in 1989.

4. Tom Cruise is the youngest. He was 27 when he was awarded in 1990.

5. 1988 honoree John F. Kennedy Jr. is one of only two non-entertainers to win Sexiest Man Alive. The other is David Beckham, in 2015.

My guess - Timothée Chalamet.

"Variety" unveiled its annual "Hitmakers" honorees. Yes, it's a thing they do every year, and they crowned SZA their Hitmaker of 2023. Other winners include:

Storyteller of the Year: Olivia Rodrigo

Group of the Year: Boygenius

Producer of the Year: Metro Boomin

Soundtrack of the Year: Mark Ronson

Film Song of the Year: Billie Eilish and Finneas, for "What Was I Made For"

Changemaker of the Year: Maren Morris

Today's Useless Fact of the Day - Legendary mystery writer Agatha Christie was an avid SURFER. In fact, she may have been the first Western woman to stand up on a surfboard.
