Henry Kissinger has died at the age of 100.
The former secretary of State will be forever connected with President Richard M. Nixon, particularly for their efforts in three areas: getting America out of the Vietnam War, opening diplomatic relations with China and reducing tensions with the Soviet Union. For decades thereafter, Kissinger’s work with Nixon and President Gerald Ford earned him the role of the Republican Party’s elder statesman when it came to foreign policy.

Have you ever had to google the answer to something your kid asked, just so you wouldn't look like an idiot?
Someone polled 2,000 parents with kids six and under and the average person can't answer HALF the questions their kid asks.
On average, young kids ask 11 questions a day, or just over 4,000 a year. And parents only know the answer to 42% of them.
The most common questions have to do with understanding the world around them. Things like animals, nature, and current events.
Parents were asked to name the most interesting question their child has ever asked. Answers included "Why is the sky so high?" . . . and "Why can fish keep their eyes open underwater?" (Answer: They don't have eyelids.)
Thanks to questions like that . . . and stuff they learn in school . . . 81% of parents say they learn just as much from their kid as their kid learns from them. On average, children teach their parents five things a week. That's 260 things a year.

Cher and Father Time are NOT friends. Even though she's 77 years old, she'd give anything to be 70 again.
She absolutely hates aging. In fact, she's not even impressed that her song "Believe" is turning 25.
Quote, "It's not that amazing. It pisses the [eff] out of me."

André 3000 made Billboard history by having the longest song to land on the Hot 100.
His song "I Swear, I Really Wanted to Make a 'Rap' Album but This Is Literally the Way the Wind Blew Me This Time" is 12 minutes and 20 seconds long. It debuted at #90.
It's the first track on his debut solo album, "New Blue Sun", which is all instrumental flute music.
The record was previously held by Tool's "Fear Inoculum", which is 10 minutes and 21 seconds long. It peaked at #93 back in August 2019.
And it's a long title with 103 characters counting spaces (21?), but not the longest.
Stars on 45, it's full title is "Medley: Intro Venus / Sugar Sugar / No Reply / I'll Be Back / Drive My Car / Do You Want to Know a Secret / We Can Work It Out / I Should Have Known Better / Nowhere Man / You're Going to Lose That Girl / Stars on 45." The song got all the way to #1 on the Billboard Top 40. Even if you removed all the spaces and punctuation from the title, the title would still be 155 characters long, making it one of the few songs whose title could not (originally) fit in a single "tweet" on Twitter.
Taking out the medley aspect, "Jeremiah Peabody's Poly Unsaturated Quick Dissolving Fast Acting Pleasant Tasting Green And Purple Pills" by novelty act Ray Stevens. That title is 90 letters long with 104 characters if you include spacing and punctuation. It hit #35 in 1961.

We're less than a month from the holidays, which means guests coming that means you making your annual "Sorry it's so messy" speech. And they say, "No it's not!" but secretly they're full-on judging you.
Let's break that pattern this year. There's a technique called the "calendar method" that can get your house clean by the holidays.
Print out a calendar of the next 30 days. On the first day, get rid of one piece of clutter in your house . . . either throw it away, give it away, or sell it, but it's gotta be gone by the end of the day. Then cross off that day on the calendar.
On day two, get rid of two pieces of clutter. On day three, three pieces. You'll start to get in the habit soon and since you have a pre-determined number of things to get rid of every day, you'll pace yourself.
By the end of the month, you'll have gotten rid of almost 500 pieces of clutter. And that WILL make a difference in how clean your home is.
Why not like 5 a day..getting rid of 27, 28, 29 pieces a day is a bit much. I would also add a “put it in it’s place” as well.

Why do Dogs love sticks??
Because they explore the world via their sense of smell and taste, a smelly stick is an attractive proposition.
Sticks may also satisfy a dog’s “prey drive,” or desire to hunt. Outdoors, they look to search and forage for material. Capturing a stick is a kind of reward and one that should be brought home to their “pack,” or the family living room. "Look at me!! I'm a valuable retriever."
Sticks might be the closest thing to a bone they can find to gnaw on. Dogs may also have learned to value a stick based on times their owner has played fetch with one.
If you find their hauling of an enormous stick amusing, you’re partly to blame. If a dog senses their owner is pleased by their behavior, then they’re more likely to repeat it on a future walk.
But be careful - Dogs shouldn’t be encouraged to chew on wood because of the potential for an intestinal obstruction from swallowing it or the risk of getting splinters in their mouth.

Today's Useless Fact of the Day - The guy who wrote Elizabeth Taylor's obituary for the "New York Times" died before SHE did. He wrote it while she was still alive . . . the way they do with some celebrities. He died in 2005. She died in 2011.
