No time for the gym? Do 25 jumping jacks as soon as you roll out of bed.

It takes less than 30 seconds and gives your body a quick wake-up call — boosting your heart rate, focus, and energy. It’s the fastest “coffee” you’ll ever have.

This sounds terrible!

Also, in the morning, drink two cups of cold water on an empty stomach first thing in the morning. Studies show it can boost metabolism by up to 30%. Plus, it helps flush out toxins and gets your brain firing before that first sip of caffeine.

(this is a bit more of something I can handle)

Eating chocolate and tea may protect your heart from the hidden damage of sitting. High-flavanol foods can prevent the decline in blood vessel function that occurs after prolonged sitting, even in physically fit people.

A cocoa drink rich in these compounds kept arteries functioning normally. Everyday foods like berries, apples, tea, and certain cocoa products could offer a simple way to protect long-term vascular health.

Thank heavens I eat lots of chocolate, and finally the tea pays off!

What's your Wordle start word? Mine is Mount, then Raise, and Glyph.

Pope Leo XIV opened a virtual meeting with American Catholic young people Friday by revealing a closely held pontifical secret: His start word!

He uses a different Wordle start word each day.

After Leo’s election in May, his brother John Prevost revealed that Leo plays Wordle every day and that the brothers compare scores, as many friends and family do.

Leo was asked about his strategy at the start of Friday’s Q&A, which was otherwise somewhat scripted. Playing along, Leo revealed, "I use a different word for Wordle every day, so there’s no set starting word."

A new study from neuroscientists at the University of Cambridge reveals four pivotal ages in a person's brain throughout their lifespan

Researchers noted that the adolescent brain in particular, is when scientists saw the "largest overall shift in trajectory" of the brain and noted that this phase can last until the age of 32

After that the brain enters the adult phase until the age of 66, where it enters the early aging brain phase.

"The brain rewires across the lifespan. It's always strengthening and weakening connections and it's not one steady pattern — there are fluctuations and phases of brain rewiring," lead researcher Dr. Alexa Mousley, told the BBC, adding that this can happen at different ages for different people.

Today's Useless Fact of the Day - On November 28, 1895, the very first American automobile race was held, running 54 miles from Chicago's Jackson Park to Evanston, Illinois, and back. The winner, Frank Duryea, finished the course in approximately 10 hours and 23 minutes—averaging a blazing speed of about 7 miles per hour.
