Oscar winning singer Irene Cara, has died at 63.
Cara passed away in her Florida home Friday, according to her rep. Details surrounding her death were not disclosed.
Her biggest hits were "Fame" and "Flashdance."

There's a new survey on the "awkward" moments that happen when you're around more family, and here are a few stats from it:
1. One in three people admits to forcing a smile to PRETEND to enjoy a relative's cooking. And two in five say they have forced a smile to pretend to like a gift.
2. Nearly ALL of the Gen Z members in the survey say they expect to be asked about their relationship prospects, future aspirations, and career plans this holiday season. And more than half of all adults expect at least one difficult question about their future or personal life.
3. About HALF of adults say they struggle to figure out what to talk about with their relatives . . . and so some people bail early. Gen Z and Millennials have the lowest threshold for extended family time, with three out of four saying that they can't even last ONE DAY with their "loved ones."

A website called PuffyBear.com is selling a human-sized teddy bear you use as a body pillow. But it's not like those oversized bears you win at carnivals.
It's got the head of a teddy bear, but the body of a man . . . like something out of a very strange nightmare.
He's got five fingers on each hand, but thankfully he's NOT anatomically correct.
He's 5 feet, 7 inches tall, and billed as an emotional support pillow that "significantly reduces the feeling of loneliness."
If you want your own weird teddy bear boyfriend, they cost $160 plus shipping.
The website says he arrives naked with no clothes, so you can dress him up however you want. He fits into large and extra-large men's clothing.

The Old Farmers Almanac has some natural remedies for a sore throat.
The most important thing you can do is drink fluids and stay well hydrated!
-Gargle with salt water, it helps reduce swelling.
-Gargle with cool sage tea has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties
-Drink lemon water vitamin C and antioxidants, but it increases the amount of saliva you produce to keep your mucous membranes moist
-Sip apple cider vinegar with honey.

For the second time in four years, a bulldog has won the title of Best in Show at the National Dog Show.
This time, it was Winston the French Bulldog that ended the two-year run for the Scottish deerhound breed.
Winston's victory marks the first time since the competition was first televised in 2002 that a French Bulldog has won the top prize.
The dog also has a personal connection to the sports world, as Winston is owned by Los Angeles Chargers defensive end Morgan Fox.
