Your Thanksgiving Forecast:
Turkeys will thaw in the morning, then warm in the oven to an afternoon high near 190 degrees. The kitchen will turn hot and humid, and if you bother the cook, be ready for a severe squall or cold shoulder.
During the late afternoon and evening, a knife cold-front slicing the turkey with plates piled with turkey “accumulation.”
Mashed potatoes will drift across one side while cranberry sauce creates slippery spots on the other. Please pass the gravy.
A weight-watch and indigestion warning will have been issued for the entire area.
During the evening, the turkey will diminish and taper off to leftovers, dropping to a low of 34 degrees in the refrigerator.
Looking ahead to Friday and Saturday, high pressure to eat sandwiches will be established. Flurries of leftovers can be expected both days.

Let's remember to keep the pets safe!! No feeding from the table!
Here are guidelines for cats.

Let's not forget the pooch. None of the dogs at the National Dog Show got any of these bad things.

There’s something irresistibly nostalgic about A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, where the Peanuts gang gathers around a backyard table for a makeshift meal of buttered toast, popcorn, pretzel sticks, jelly beans, and even ice cream sundaes. Instead of trying to pull off a picture-perfect feast, they focus on togetherness and gratitude.
It may be the first "Friendsgiving" ever!

Yes, the food is unconventional, but remember when Peppermint Patty complains about it in the classic special, it’s Linus who reminds everyone what the day is truly about: gratitude. Encourage everyone to share something they’re thankful for, big or small. You could even hand out note cards for guests to jot down what they appreciate about each other.
Make plans now for next year, unless you're doing it today!
Happy Thanksgiving!
