The USPS is out with their holiday mailing deadlines.

Remember earlier, the better to make sure it's there by Christmas!

USPS Ground Advantage Service and First Class Mail, including Greeting Cards, is December 17th.

Dec 18th for Priority Mail Service

Dec 20th for Priority Mail Express Service.

For Military Mail, let's go with December 9th for First Class, the 16th for Priority Mail.

If you spend your day hunched over a desk, here’s your fix… try dead hangs! Just hang from a pull-up bar for a few minutes total each day. It decompresses your spine, improves posture, and even makes you a bit taller (for a while). It’s basically a stretch your back will thank you for!

When visiting a new baby, or even a new puppy, always greet the older sibling or the older pet first. Giving them 30 seconds of love and attention helps prevent jealousy and makes them feel just as special. A small gesture, but it keeps hearts happy all around.

Note 1 - don't pet the older child like a dog.

2. You should probably also say Hi to a person walking a dog as well..instead of just talking to the dog.

6-7, whatever that is..was the big kid slang recently, that might be done.

The new number sliding into kid slang is 41. Yes, the number that comes after 40. Like 6-7, it is drawn out and said in a slightly descending tone (think vocal fry with less fry), but it is pronounced as “forty-one” (well, actually, “forty-ooooone.”

6-7 was hands up and down, 41 is moving your hands sideways in opposite directions, like a DJ playing spinnin some was. (hey..slang)

It originated in a song by Blizzi Boi that’s called—you guessed it—the “41 Song.” Blizzi raps about how he is 41 and has 41 of everything

Are 6-7 and 41 the same thing? No, 6-7 is basically the OG of this nonsensical number slang, while 41 is its (even more) annoying kid brother.

Today's Useless Fact of the Day - 1883 — U.S. and Canadian railroads establish the four standard time zones.

American railroads maintained many different time zones during the late 1800s. Each train station set its own clock, making it difficult to coordinate train schedules and confusing passengers.

Operators of the new railroad lines needed a new time plan that would offer a uniform train schedule for departures and arrivals. Four standard time zones for the continental United States were introduced

The next year was the International Meridian conference that stated there should be one Prime Meridian and that went through the Greenwich Observatory in the UK. Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) was established as the world's time standard.
