Five Nights at Freddy's, the terrifying adaptation of the popular video game made a killing in its box office debut, making $78.0M.

For a $20 million-budgeted horror film that streamed simultaneously on Peacock, in just three days it has already surpassed the entire global haul of 2022’s “Halloween Ends” ($104 million) and will soon overtake 2021’s “Halloween Kills” ($133 million) — which previously ranked as the biggest hybrid releases from Universal and Peacock. And those slasher sequels were from a time-tested film franchise.

It also has been the most-watched and biggest subscription driver since on Peacock.

2. Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour $14.7M

3. Killers of the Flower Moon $9.0M

4. After Death $5.1M

5. The Exorcist: Believer $3.1M

You know you can self-publish through Amazon with its Kindle Direct Publishing.

Seems they had to create a new rule limiting the number of books that authors can self-publish after an influx of suspected AI-generated material.

That number is three. Who is writing three books a day? Seriously???

Being athletic is not required.

The first-ever FLORIDA MAN GAMES are set for February 24th in St. Augustine.

ANYONE in Florida can sign up to potentially compete.

They'll choose 16 teams with five people each. Here are the five events they've got planned . . .

1. Beer Belly Florida Sumo Wrestling. Basically just sumo wrestling, but without the training or prestige.

2. Evading Arrest Obstacle Course. You'll jump over fences and run through yards while being chased by cops.

3. Catalytic Converter, 2 Bikes, and a Handful of Copper Pipes. It's described as a head-to-head race that "lets you live a day in the life of a Florida Man headline." We're guessing you have to steal all that stuff as fast as possible.

4. Weaponized Pool Noodle Mud Duel. Jousting with pool noodles while standing on a platform in an above-ground pool.

5. Category 5 Cash Grab. It sounds like one of those boxes you stand in and try to grab dollar bills. They say you'll be subjected to hurricane-force winds.

They'll also have a mullet contest . . . a "Florida MA'AM" beauty pageant . . . and "Chicken Coop Bingo," where two chickens pick the numbers.

They enlisted two former American Gladiators to be the judges: Nitro and Ice.

By the way..there is a Florida man card game.

Today's Useless Fact of the Day - Plastic surgery has nothing to do with the materials used. Plastic is from the Greek word "plastikos" which means "to mold" or "to form."
