Scott Adams, the cartoonist who created Dilbert, has died. He was 68.
The humorist, who satirized office culture in his long-running comic strip, died Jan. 13 following a battle with prostate cancer.
Dilbert was dropped from numerous publications in 2023 after he went on a rant.

A florist has gone viral today for creating "vegetable bouquets" using cauliflower as the centerpieces. It’s being marketed as the "bouquet you can eat for dinner," and while it’s surprisingly beautiful, it might be the only romantic gift that requires a side of ranch dressing.

We all know that AI is not good at everything. It still needs human input and cleanup.
It's terrible at making clocks and telling time.

The numbers seem to be consistently in the wrong place, and sometimes are outside the clock itself. The hands may or may not be in the correct position, and sometimes are floating off in space outside of the clock. Even the clocks that are pretty good look…off, somehow.
A 2025 study by technologist Alek Safar suggests that humans are 89.1 percent accurate at telling the time on analogue clocks while the top-rated AI is only 39.4 percent accurate.

Today's Useless Fact of the Day - The clarinet is traditionally said to have been invented on this day by Johann Christoph Denner in Germany.
It was essentially an "update" to an older instrument called the chalumeau. Denner added a "register key," which allowed the instrument to play much higher notes. (I still would make it sound like a sick dying animal.)
