So I have been posting the Anniversary Song of the Day for 5 years now. I have run through all the years!!! All of that content is archived right here.
Don’t worry, I will still be posting things: birthdays, things that happened on that date in history, dance songs, and maybe even some album that dropped that day in the past. Whatever it is, you will still get a video a day.

45 Years ago - 1981 MTV goes on the air, bringing music videos to the masses - at least the ones with cable. WE all know that the first video was "Video Killed the Radio Star" by The Buggles.
Jump ahead 6 years - 1987 MTV Europe makes its debut. The first video shown is Dire Straits' "Money for Nothing," a song where Sting proclaims, "I want my MTV."
