Today in Music History - 1977 Elvis Died. I actually remember where I was when I heard the News. Sears, Gary, Indiana. Back to School shopping; bought a winter coat (don't remember what else). They were playing the radio, and the news at the top of the hour came on and mentioned it.
Also on this date in 2018, Aretha Franklin died. I don't know where I was when I heard the news.
Elvis is ok..but I really loved Aretha. Here you go.
