A survey (by water company Evian) found a little over one in ten adults is “too busy” to drink more water. Interestingly, 15 percent of adults actually track their water intake with an app, and 10 percent track it with pen and paper.

To the shock of no one, a survey found that men lie more than women. The average guy lies three times a day, or 1,092 times a year. Women say they lie just twice a day.

Because you don't have enough to worry about - Sangeetha Abdu Jyothi, an assistant professor at the University of California, Irvine, presented research at the SIGCOMM 2021 data communication conference suggesting that a powerful solar storm could lead to an “Internet Apocalypse.” Her paper, called “Solar Superstorms: Planning for an Internet Apocalypse,” explains how these storms could produce clouds of magnetized solar particles that could wreak havoc on electrical grids and the undersea cables connecting much of the world’s internet.
As reported by LiveScience, entire countries would be without power for weeks or months at a time. Worst still, even when the power comes back the internet may still be down.

Apple’s fall iPhone event is on the books for next Tuesday, Sept. 14. The virtual event is being billed with the tagline “California Streaming.” The tech industry is widely in agreement that Apple will debut the iPhone 13 and a major update to the Apple Watch, as well as the release of iOS 15. New AirPods could be announced, too, though that’s less of a sure thing.

Britney Spears’ father has filed to end the conservatorship that controls his daughter’s life.
In a petition to the court, Jamie Spears’ legal team wrote that Britney "is entitled to have this court now seriously consider whether this conservatorship is no longer required." Britney herself has not formally filed to end the conservatorship but she did ask the judge to remove her father as the guardian of her estate.
