Happy fall - The Equinox happened at 2:50 a.m. this morning.
The Autumn Equinox occurs when the sun moves directly over the Earth's equator, bringing the same amount of daylight and darkness on that day. So we should get around 12 hours of light and dark tomorrow.
Meteorologists and climatologists split the year into four "meteorological seasons" Fall for them started September 1st.
There's going to be a special full moon next week. It's called the "harvest moon" and it'll occur at 5:58 A.M. Eastern on September 29th. It's also the fourth and final "supermoon" of the year, which means it will appear slightly bigger and brighter than your average full moon.
Get Ready, you’ll see the memes….our last sunset after 7pm is on Sunday until March 12th..and that's only because of the time change.

On Sunday, a NASA spacecraft is going to drop a container full of asteroid rubble for scientists back on Earth to study. It's expected to be the biggest sample scientists have ever received — at least a cupful. The landing, which involves a pogo-stick-like touchdown, marks the end of a 7-year, 4-billion-mile, 1-billion-dollar mission.

Using your phone before bed is not good for your quality of sleep — the blue light from your screen disrupts the production of melatonin, the hormone that helps you feel sleepy and ready to snooze. Nevertheless, most of us are in the habit of scrolling at night.
MattressNextDay surveyed 1,500 Americans to find out which apps they use most, and why they're on their phones at bedtime.
Key Findings:
Almost 40 percent of those surveyed admit they scroll through apps before going to sleep.
Despite research showing phone use affects your sleep, more than half of respondents think it helps them wind down at bedtime.
Sixty-eight percent of respondents use their phones within an hour of going to sleep on a nightly basis.
On average, before-bed use of Whatsapp increases by 195 percent on the weekend.
In fact all apps increased and we love the socials
Snapchat, X, TikTok, Instagram, Texts, Facebook, and YouTube.

On Wednesday, a truck was hauling ice cream on the Pennsylvania Turnpike, when it was hit by another truck that was attempting to pass it. The driver of the truck with the ice cream lost control, and the truck overturned.
Ice cream spilled EVERYWHERE . . . and the delicious ice cream slick actually forced officials to close that part of the road for SIX HOURS so it could be cleaned up.
It was a hit-and-run, and police are still looking for the other driver. The driver of the truck with the ice cream suffered minor injuries.
