Maybe you have noticed Covid-19 has made a comeback recently. So free COVID tests will also be coming back. The Biden administration will invest $600 million to produce more tests that can be ordered for at-home use starting Sept. 25 — four per household.
The Department of Health and Human Services says orders can be placed at COVIDTests.gov starting Sept. 25, and that no-cost tests will be delivered for free by the United States Postal Service.

Heard an interesting news story over the weekend, that we have 96 bags of human poop left on the moon. They left it to make space for moon samples, and to reduce the weight of the spacecraft. Question is..who owns it?
Scientists want it back to study the effects of being in the harsh environment to see how the microbes and stuff fared all these years.
According to space historian Teasel Muir-Harmony’s book, “Apollo to the Moon: A History in 50 Objects,” Buzz Aldrin’s urine collection device bag broke on a leap onto the lunar surface, leaking into his left boot. So one could say his steps on the moon – or those, at least – were slushier than expected.

A.I. can translate CHICKEN-SPEAK?
Scientists from Japan say A.I. can help to understand what different chicken clucks mean . . . with about 80% accuracy.
It uses the SOUND of their vocalizations to determine distinct emotional states, including: Hunger, fear, anger, contentment, excitement, and distress.
Obviously, insight like this could be very beneficial in the CARE of animals . . . allowing us to KNOW what stresses them out, without having to guess.
It's worth pointing out that this research is in its VERY early stages.

Taylor Swift was spotted out on the town in New York City on Tuesday night, arm-in-arm with . . . SOPHIE TURNER. Sophie just announced her split from Joe Jonas . . . who just happens to also be Taylor's ex.
What . . . or WHO . . . do you think Taylor and Sophie talked about?
Taylor and Joe dated about 15 years ago . . . which should make you feel incredibly old. And Taylor claimed that he broke up with her in a 27-second phone call.

This leads to the question...when do you cut your losses?
A woman in Michigan was in an outhouse on Tuesday morning, when she dropped her Apple Watch INTO the toilet.
The woman decided to try to retrieve the watch by "lowering herself inside the toilet." It was big enough that she fit down inside . . . but then she got STUCK. She yelled for help, and someone called the police.
First responders showed up and found her, quote, "in the muck." They removed the toilet top itself, and then used a strap to "hoist" her out to safety. For better or worse, she DID manage to retrieve that disgusting watch.
Afterward, the police issued a public reminder saying, "If you lose an item in an outhouse toilet, do not attempt to venture inside the containment area. Serious injury may occur." In this case, the woman was NOT hurt.

Today's Useless Fact of the Day - Yesterday, the 21st of September, is featured in the Earth Wind & Fire hit "September" So Why?
Songwriter Maurice White claimed he just chose the 21st because it sounded good when sung but his wife once said that that September 21st was the due date of their son, Kahbran.
