Can you wear white after Labor Day?
First, why is this a thing? No one knows, but it could be that those with enough money to travel during winter and fall wore white as vacation attire, meant to signal an air of leisure. But those who stayed in city centers generally remained in dark clothing for the seasons after summer.
OR
Labor Day reminds people to switch out their light summer linens with darker tones and thicker fabrics.
Whicever, it's find to wear white after Labor Day today.
Even Vogue, considered by some a tome of fashion wisdom, advises that white can always be in style, even putting forth a guide to seasonally appropriate pieces in ivory and cream.

Since March, Taylor Swift's Eras Tour has taken over each of the North American cities it's passed through. Taylor has ruled venuse and well the summer! October 13th, it will be taking over AMC theaters — so much so that AMC quintupled its website's visitor capacity to avoid a Ticketmaster-style debacle. Eras' international conquest begins in November.
The runtime is listed as 2 hours and 45 minutes, and tickets cost $19.89, because of course they do. The Eras Tour film was originally set to open the same day as the new "Exorcist" until the studio changed that film's date Thursday afternoon.
(the closes AMC I think is in Binghamton.

Barbie Oppenheimer, a random 68-year-old grandma in Massachusetts. That IS her real name but she says, "Most people don't believe [it]. They think I'm joking."
Technically, she's gone by "Barbara" for most of her adult life . . but when she was younger, she went by Barbie.
Barbara says she's totally embraced her "summer of (unexpected) fame." She HAS seen both movies . . . but couldn't handle them both in the same day.
She watched "Oppenheimer" first, since her husband is actually related to J. Robert Oppenheimer, the so-called "father of the atomic bomb" who's the subject of the move.

Speaking of #Barbenheimer, this was inevitable: A "Barbenheimer" movie is actually happening. It's an cheap B-movie, and there aren't any casting details yet. But here's the synopsis:
"In Dollsville, a group of fed-up female dolls . . . led by the brilliant Dr. Barbenheimer . . . build an atomic bomb. Their mission is to bring down the patriarchy once and for all.
"But as the battle of the sexes swells, will Barbenheimer and her group of beauties end up 'blowing up' more than they bargained for?"
It will start filming later this month, and could hit Amazon's Prime Video by Christmas. It's being produced by Full Moon Features.
