It's official!!! 

Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” achieves a landmark 20th week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 — claiming the sole longest run ever atop the chart for a non-holiday song. 

It’s just the third song to rule Streaming Songs for at least 20 weeks, joining Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” (26) and Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road” (20).

Meanwhile, after topping the Country Airplay chart for three weeks in February-March, “Choosin’ Texas” continues crossing over at radio, hitting new highs of No. 4 on Adult Pop Airplay and No. 7 on Pop Airplay.

“Choosin’ Texas” also tops the multimetric Hot Country Songs chart for a 38th week and the Songs of the Summer chart for a 13th week.

By the way, Stella Lefty's "Boston" sits at #2 again this week.

The speculation gained momentum after a magnitude 7.4 earthquake struck Colombia on August 10, with some claiming it was "proof" of the prediction. But The Economist never presented the cover as a seismic calendar — the design simply referenced global events like the World Cup. So while the theory is making the rounds, there's no scientific basis for a September 7 earthquake. Still, it's fascinating how quickly these things spread.
