Today's Useless Fact of the Day - "Beverly Hills Cop" was originally going to be a straight action film starring Sylvester Stallone as a character named "Axel Cobretti." He pulled out two weeks before filming started and the studio rewrote the movie to fit Eddie Murphy.

It's going to be a big autumn for books about famous people written by those same famous people. Britney Spears' The Woman in Me is getting the most attention, but the decades-long wait for Barbra Streisand's My Name Is Barbra probably makes it the most anticipated by fans. work out before you buy it, it's listed at 1000 pages.

Others with memoirs this fall include Jada Pinkett Smith, Kerry Washington, John Stamos, Henry Winkler, Julia Fox, Elton John’s longtime lyricist Bernie Taupin, filmmaker Werner Herzog, writer-comedian Sarah Cooper and Thurston Moore of Sonic Youth.Sly Stone will finally open up about his life and work in “Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin).” Staci Robinson’s “Tupac Shakur” is the first authorized account of the late rapper and actor, whose long-unsolved killing has recently been back in the spotlight.

He's getting too old for this. In an Instagram video, Kevin Hart declared he is the "stupidest man alive" after injuring himself and ending up in a wheelchair. "Why?" he said. "Well, because I tried to go out there and do some young man stuff, and I was told to sit my a-- down."

Specifically, Hart got into a debate with his friend, former NFL running back Stevan Ridley, about which one of them is faster. This led the 44-year-old comedian to attempt to run a 40-yard dash, during which he "blew all my s--t" and tore his lower abdomen and abductors. The recovery will take "six to eight" weeks, he said. Though the tone of his video was comedic, Hart appeared deeply frustrated with himself, wondering, "Why did I even race? Stupidest s--t ever. Now I can't walk!" His next stand-up special may be more of a sit-down special.

Are you more motivated to be healthy when the weather's nice? A new poll found most of us are. Three in four Americans say "perfect" weather makes them pay more attention to their health.

Sunny skies and warm temperatures were voted the two "healthiest" weather conditions. Thunderstorms and high humidity are the least healthy.

Most people in the South probably wouldn't call the current heatwave "ideal." So summer doesn't always have "perfect" weather. But according to the poll, here are some of the top ways we prioritize our health in summer . . .

1. Eat healthy. Just over half of us are more likely to in the summertime.

2. Exercise more.

3. Take vitamins or supplements.

4. Maintain a regular routine. That includes getting enough sleep.

5. Play more sports.

6. Drink less alcohol.

Do you think you're more or less gross than the average person? Well, let's find out: Someone polled people to find out how popular different gross habits are. Here are five questions, and how people answered . . .

1. Do you pick your wedgies in public? Or do you suffer through it until you can find a bathroom? 74% of us are pickers. Most did say they at least try to be discrete about it.

2. Do you ever take phone calls on the toilet? 62% of us do, including 13% who said they do it "all the time."

3. Do you find pimple-popping videos satisfying? Half of us do, including 18% who "love" them.

4. How many times do you wear clothes before washing them? Only 46% generally wear clothes once, then wash them. 39% said multiple times. Another 15% said they wait until they're visibly dirty, or smell.

5. Have you ever POOPED YOUR PANTS? Half said no, only when they were a baby. But 36% said yes, once . . . another 13% said it's happened multiple times . . . and 2% said too many times to count.

Every generation has nostalgia that the newer generations are totally missing out on . . . like how Boomers would walk 10 miles to school, in two feet of snow, barefoot, uphill both ways.

There's a thread on social media where Millennials and Gen X are talking about the things from THEIR childhood that Gen Z never got to experience. Here are a few highlights:

1. "Not having all your screw-ups forever uploaded to the internet."

2. "Parents that let their kids run free."

3. "Musical involvement. Spotify has made everything so available that it's destroyed a sense of connection. When you were only buying a few CDs every year, you got to know those albums inside and out."

4. Similarly . . . "Checking the 'TV Guide' and getting excited about a show or movie that'd be on later in the week. Having everything on-demand ruins that."

5. "The excitement of getting back developed film."

6. "AOL Instant Messenger."

7. "Parents not having HD security cameras."

8. "Browsing the video rental store."

9. "Real, actual boredom. You were forced to be creative . . . learning instruments, drawing and painting, and writing terrible teenage poetry."

10. "Not being connected to everyone on social media . . . for better AND worse. And being able to disconnect in general."
