Are your kids ready for college? I mean cleaning up after themselves?
In a survey, 92% of college-age kids agreed that a clean room helps them feel their best . . . but 72% say they came to college UNPREPARED to clean up after themselves.
53% of them admit they don't feel "motivated" to clean . . . and 50% claim they don't have enough time. Plus, there are often at least two students in a space, and 71% say they've argued with a roommate over how to clean.

A new survey asked 2,000 Americans for the BEST chicken wing flavor . . . and it was dominated by spicy and savory.
BBQ flavor is #1 with 39% of the vote. Ranch flavor is second, followed by Hot Buffalo . . . Garlic Parmesan . . . Honey Mustard . . . Lemon Pepper . . . Medium Buffalo . . . Teriyaki . . . Mild Buffalo . . . and Jerk seasoning.
And even in the COVID-19 era, people expect chicken wings to be messy.
73% of people say they won't judge you for licking your fingers after eating chicken wings . . . as long as you don't judge them. Also, most people also only dip their wings ONCE, although the people who DO dip multiple times are crazed lunatics . . . averaging five dips per wing.

A ton of studies have found healthy benefits of drinking coffee. But switching to TEA might be even better.
Here are five reasons experts think it's the healthiest drink in the world.
1. It helps lower blood pressure. A recent study found that compounds in it help our blood vessels relax, which can keep your blood pressure in check.
2. The "flavonoids" might help you live longer. Anything plant-based has them, including tea. One cup has a third of the flavonoids you need in a day.
3. It might help you lose weight. Tea can boost your metabolism and promote the growth of healthy gut bacteria, which helps with weight loss.
4. It could lower your stroke risk. A study found people who drink two to three cups of tea OR coffee a day are 32% less likely to have a stroke between the ages of 50 and 75, and 28% less likely to develop dementia. Green tea might be best though because it's also been linked to lower rates of Alzheimer's disease.
5. It might protect your liver. A study looked at people 45 and up, and found the ones who drank a lot of tea and coffee had less scarring on their liver, which is an early sign of cirrhosis.

Sore throat? Grab a pack of JELLO but instead of putting it in the freezer, heat it up and add a teaspoon of honey. The Gelatin will coat and soothe your throat.

The Hershey Company has announced that they will not be able to meet Halloween demand this year . . . because of the war in Ukraine.
They say it has to do with "disruptions along its supply chain, including higher dairy prices and scarce ingredients." And sourcing stuff from other suppliers is expensive and time-consuming.
It seems like there's time to find a workaround, but they've already started Halloween production, and their projections show they'll come up short.

Sprite is making a major change after 61 years . . . they're discontinuing the iconic green plastic bottle.
The Coca-Cola Company has announced that, beginning next week, they're changing Sprite's packaging to clear plastic bottles . . . because the green bottles, ironically, aren't green enough.
The green bottles are recyclable, but because of the additives in the plastic to change the color, it has to be separated from other plastic to be repurposed . . . and that creates a lot of headaches and unnecessary waste.
The green bottles will also be dropped from other Coca-Cola products, including Mello Yello . . . Fresca . . . and Seagram's Ginger Ale.
Sprite will continue to have a bright green label and cap, but the look will take some getting used to . . . because the clear bottle makes it look like Sprite Zero Sugar, and other variations.

Today's Useless Fact of the Day - The version of "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" we sing is really just the chorus. The actual song has two verses about a woman who loves baseball and demands her boyfriend take her to a game instead of a movie.
