Celebrate National Apple Turnover, Graham Cracker, Hawaii, Workaholics, and Bikini Day.
Hawaii is our 50th state August 21, 1959. Eight islands make up The Aloha State, the largest of which is named Hawaii. The islands of Maui, Oahu, and Kauai are the next in size followed by Molokai, Lanai, Nihau, and Kahoolawe.

Cops in Waterboro, Maine responded to a report of a stolen vehicle on Sunday. And they stopped a guy who was walking nearby, because they thought he was involved.
It turned out he wasn't. But there was a warrant out for his arrest, because he'd been caught shoplifting from Walmart.
So they took him to jail and booked him, and then let him post $200 in bail to get out.
But . . . he tried to post bail with counterfiet bills.
He handed them two $100 bills that weren't real, so they tacked on a forgery charge and took him back to his cell.
He paid another $100 in bail to get out later that day apparently with real money that time. He's due in court August 4th.

Back to work after the holiday tomorrow, and a new survey asked 13,000 Americans if we should ditch the five-day workweek and do four days a week with ten-hour days instead.
And 66% of Americans said yes, they'd prefer it that way.
Only 23% said they'd rather stick with the current system of five days a week. And 11% aren't sure.
72% of people think they'd be just as productive or more productive if they only worked four days a week.
And this part surprised us, but older people were much more likely to think a four-day week makes sense. Only 18% of people 45 and up prefer a five-day workweek, compared to 30% of people younger than that.

Over a third of Americans feel like they have "nothing to wear" now that the pandemic is winding down. And the average person has purged seven things from their wardrobe, because they don't fit anymore.

1. Dress pants. 28%
2. Dress shirts, also 28%.
3. Dresses, 26%.
4. Handbags, 22%.
5. Skirts, 22%.
6. Flashy boots, 18%.
7. Shoes with heels, 17%.
8. Blazers and sport coats, 16%.
9. Suits, 15%.
10. Ties, 10%.
