Apple had their big developers conference yesterday and some new things coming including the new iOS 18 coming in the fall.

AI - making Siri better

YES!!!!! Putting app icons and widgets anywhere on the home screen grid.

Turning the iPhone on dark mode, which now changes app icons.

With the help of Apple Intelligence, users will be able to create custom "Genmoji" to match any moment. All users will have to do is provide a description and a Genmoji will appear, along with other options to choose from.

The Passwords app will make it easier for users to store and access their passwords, passkeys, Wi-Fi passwords, and verification codes. The app will also tell users if their passwords are weak or have been used multiple times.

Elon Musk says he will ban Apple devices at his companies.

Apple announced earlier on Monday that it would integrate OpenAI’s technology into its iPhones. When users are speaking to Siri, it will be able to hand off some queries to ChatGPT, OpenAI’s large language model.

Mr. Musk said that such an update would be an “unacceptable security violation”.

After a case spurred by complaints on books containing the words “butt” and “fart” as well as touching on the topics of racism and LGBTQ+ identity, an appellate court has ruled that Texas cannot ban books from libraries simply because officials “dislike the idea contained in those books”.

One of them was Larry the Farting Leprechaun. ( I need to read this now.)

A Chick-fil-A location in Louisiana is hosting day-long summer

camps for pre-teens between the ages of five and 12, which

will teach them how to work at Chick-fil-A. They're also charging parents $35 a day. (you do get a  meal, a snack, a t-shirt, and a NAME TAG.)

The programs include: Customer service skills . . . dining room hosting . . .learning how to take a guest's order at the register . . . learning how to bag a guest's order . . . touring the kitchen . . . preparing chicken nuggets . . . serving ice cream in a cone or cup . . . and how to be a Chick-fil-A mascot.

The camps are scheduled for next month, and there were over 150 spots that are now sold out.

(more reason to hate them)

If you could snap your fingers and change the color of your eyes,

would you do it? A recent poll found 26% of Americans would, and another 7% said maybe.

So a third of us would at least consider it.

The most common eye color in America is dark brown at 40%. Then blue, 23% .. . hazel, 15% . . . green, 11% . . . amber or light brown, 4% . . . and gray, 4%.(Gray could also be described as a lighter blue.)

So what color eyes do we WISH we had? Blue was the top

answer, followed closely by green. Then it's gray, hazel, amber, and only 7% said brown.

But no matter what color eyes you have, plenty of people out there think it's the hottest eye color.

32% think blue is the most attractive eye color . . . 13% said green . . . 11% said brown . . . 7%, hazel . . . 6%, amber . . . and 5% said gray.

More than one in five people said eye color makes no difference to them when it comes to dating.
