Amanda Seyfried is taking her talents to the Great White Way.
Seyfried confirmed on TODAY with Hoda & Jenna that she will play Thelma in a musical Broadway adaptation of “Thelma & Louise.”
“I was busy working on my first Broadway musical adaptation of ‘Thelma & Louise,’ which no one thought, ‘Oh, that should be a musical,’ except some very genius people. But now it’s just like, it has to be,” she said.
“Thelma & Louise” won an Academy Award for best screenplay. It was also nominated for five other Oscars, including best actress nods for both Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon, as well as best director for Ridley Scott.

Buckingham Palace announced Charles III will have a shorter procession route to Westminster Abbey for his May 6 coronation, but don't worry: There will still be plenty of status pieces, including five swords, two scepters, the Crown Jewels and a 260-year-old gilded carriage — so uncomfortable that Queens Victoria and Elizabeth hated it — that has been used in every coronation since 1831.

Want to get to sleep quicker?? Stop drinking coffee in the afternoon. Roughly 25% of the caffeine in a coffee will still be in your system 12 hours later. For tea, follow the no tea after 3 rule.

Nick Cannon has 12 kids by six different women, and if there's a 13th...with Taylor Swift????
He sat down with Howard Stern who asked Nick about increasing his already large family by one if the mother was none other than Taylor Swift.
He then outlined why Taylor would be the perfect mate. "First of all, she's an amazing songwriter," Nick said, adding, "What I do love about Taylor Swift is that she has been so vulnerable and open with all of her music."
Nick noted that Taylor can relate to him through their "very similar" dating histories while joking that his "Spidey senses" were tingling. He ended the Taylor/baby convo with this, "That would be amazing."

Older members of Congress are notorious for their lack of familiarity with modern technology. Late last month, at least three different representatives in a hearing on TikTok called the popular app “Tic Tac,” a breath mint available in many store checkout lines.
Congress today is older than it’s ever been. Across all senators and representatives, the median age of the 118th Congress is 59 years old. The median senator is 65 years old, a record high; the median representative is about 58, for the fourth Congress in a row.1 Congress has notably aged since 2001: From 1919 to 1999, the median senator never eclipsed 60 years old and the median representative never surpassed 55.
The country’s aging population as a whole is chiefly responsible, which is most apparent in the disproportionate influence the baby boomer generation has on Capitol Hill.

A new study from Duke developmental psychologists asked kids just that, as well as how smart and sensitive they thought the smart speaker Alexa was compared to its floor-dwelling cousin Roomba, an autonomous vacuum.
Four- to eleven-year-olds judged Alexa to have more human-like thoughts and emotions than Roomba. But despite the perceived difference in intelligence, kids felt neither the Roomba nor the Alexa deserve to be yelled at or harmed.
The older kids got however, the more they reported it would be slightly more acceptable to attack technology.

Saw this story a couple of places today. Don't use public phone charging stations. The FBI is warning you to stay away from them as they become commonplace in airports, shopping malls, and other places
The problem is that hackers have found a way to introduce malware and other software onto devices through public stations.
They say to use your charger and an electrical outlet, or (this is new to me) a charging-only cable which doesn't allow the transfer of information while being used.
The term for it is Juice Jacking.
