This is why the world looks at us like a bunch of idiots.

Can a "boneless chicken wing" truly be called a wing?

That's the question posed by a new class-action lawsuit filed last week in federal court by a Chicago man who purchased a round of boneless wings in January at a Buffalo Wild Wings in Mount Prospect, Ill.

Based on the name and description of the wings, the complaint says, Aimen Halim "reasonably believed the Products were actually wings that were deboned" — in other words, that they were constituted entirely of chicken wing meat.

But the "boneless wings" served at Buffalo Wild Wings are not. Instead, they are made of white meat from chicken breasts.

he alleged, the chain "willfully, falsely, and knowingly misrepresented" its boneless wings as actual chicken wings.

Buffalo Wild Wings tweeted - "It's True, Our Boneless wings are all white meat chicken. Our hamburgers contain no ham. Our buffalo wings a 0% buffalo.

The suit also demands unspecified compensation for monetary losses suffered by Halim and all other customers of Buffalo Wild Wings locations in Illinois.

Such cases have risen from 18 in 2008 to over 300 in 2021, according to Perkins Coie, a law firm that tracks food and beverage litigation and represents corporations. The number slowed last year, the firm found.

A while back, there was a TikTok debate about WHO should place the divider on the conveyor belt at the supermarket checkout . . . the person who just placed all their groceries on, or the person who arrived behind them.

Now, there's this: A meteorologist from Arkansas named Ryan Vaughan has started a NEW debate: How do you position the divider? Across the width of the conveyor belt . . . or down the middle?

(this picture is not correct hahahaha, never in all my years have I see it long way)

In a Facebook post, he said, "I'm at the store tonight and noticed some of you don't know how to use the divider. You need to put it long ways to trip the sensor, and keep a distance. Some of y'all use it as a privacy fence."

Naturally, the comments were all over the place: Some people had their minds blown, while others thought his technique was an absurd waste of space.

Others joked about even more alternatives . . . like placing it diagonally, standing it on its end, or using multiple dividers to make shapes.

The new movie this weekend is Shazam! Fury of the Gods I love how the star of the movie Shazam himself Zachary Levi is second billed to Helen Mirren.

Sequel for the comic book movie.

It's also a week to catch up on some movies from the last few weeks.
