Today in Music History - 2000 - "Can't Fight the Moonlight" by LeAnn Rimes from the movie Coyote Ugly was released. Written by Diane Warren and produced by Trevor Horn, it peaked at #11and #17 Club. It did reach #1 in Australia.
Rimes was the singing voice for lead Piper Perabo in the film.
The movie opened in the US to $17.3 million (4th place) and grossed $113 million worldwide!
