This year there will be zero crypto ads during the Super Bowl. Plenty of companies are still willing to pay $6 million to $7 million for a 30-second spot, with alcohol companies buying up the most airtime, and of course M&m's.

The cheap seats aren't just for live sports and theater anymore. With its newly announced price tiers, AMC theaters will discount seats in the front rows, charge more for prime seats in the middle, and keep the rest at the same price. The pricing will be in all AMC theaters by the end of the year.

We just talked about someone wanting to bring back the extinct Dodo Bird, and here we are with news on the long-dead woolly mammoth. C will make its return from extinction by 2027, says Colossal, the biotech company actively working to reincarnate the ancient beast.

Last year, the Dallas-based firm scored an additional $60 million in funding to continue the, well, mammoth gene-editing work it started in 2021. Colossal, the biotech company, if successful, not only will they bring back an extinct species—one the company dubs a cold-resistant elephant—but it will also reintroduce the woolly mammoth to the same ecosystem in which it once lived in an effort to fight climate change.

While Colossal originally hoped to reintroduce the woolly mammoth into Siberia, the company may explore other options based on the current political framework of the world.

How about Upstate NY! Imagine seeing one of those in the road. NO.

By the way..if they are successful, they are looking at bringing back the Tasmanian Tiger.

John Cleese is developing a Fawlty Towers sequel.

American production company Castle Rock Entertainment, run by actor Rob Reiner, is backing the project.

Cleese is writing and will star in the comedy with his daughter and fellow comic, Camilla Cleese.

US trade publications report: "The new series will explore how Cleese's over-the-top, cynical and misanthropic Basil Fawlty navigates the modern world. Plot details are largely being kept under wraps but the development will bring the story forward to explore Basil's relationship with a daughter he has just discovered he had, as the pair tempt fate and team up to run a boutique hotel."

Fawlty Towers regularly nears the top of charts of British television's favourite (hush..it's spelled right, it's British) sitcoms. It ran for two series on BBC Two from 1975, across just twelve episodes. And frankly, it's just genius.

Someone on Reddit asked about weird food combos. Here are 20 weird food combinations people swear are good . . .

1. Corn Flakes on ice cream.

2. Tuna sandwich with barbecue chips inside.

3. Strawberry jam on a fried egg.

4. Salt-and-vinegar chips topped with sauerkraut.

5. Chili on a cinnamon roll.

6. Peanut butter and pickle sandwiches. Peanut butter was a big ingredient in general. People also said peanut butter on pancakes, and a PB&J with tortillas instead of bread.

7. Cream cheese and sautéed onions on a hot dog. That's actually something called a "Seattle Dog."

8. Fries dipped in soy sauce.

9. Fries dipped in mashed potatoes and gravy.

10. Mashed potatoes with chicken noodle soup instead of gravy.

11. Cereal with yogurt instead of milk.

12. Pinto beans mixed with cottage cheese.

13. Cottage cheese rolled up with baloney, and seasoned with salt and pepper.

14. Baby carrots dipped in ketchup.

15. Pringles dipped in chocolate pudding.

16. Fritos dipped in applesauce.

17. Warm milk with pepper and cinnamon mixed in.

18. Popcorn and grapes.

19. Kiwis, but leave the skin on. The skin is actually good for you.

20. Shove a big pretzel stick in a banana. Someone's grandma called it "Bananas with Bones." Reddit has now renamed it "BONE-anas."

Last week, a man at a Marriott in Iowa confronted another guest in a stairwell, while naked . . . and swinging a TOILET PLUNGER around. He reportedly told the person, "I'm going to [effing] get you."

It's unclear if they knew each other, but probably not. The naked plunger guy continued through multiple floors . . . "terrorizing" guests by swinging the plunger and pulling fire alarms . . . until he was "subdued" by the authorities.

Police say the guy is 21-year-old Trevyn Hill. He was charged with assault, criminal mischief, and disorderly conduct. There are reports that he was a flight attendant for Southwest Airlines . . . and that during his naked rampage, he defecated on the floor of the hotel. It's unclear if he was on anything.

Now really, if you have a toilet plunger..you should be running about screaming EXTERMINATE!

Someone polled 2,000 pet owners, and 83% claimed their dog or cat has a favorite sport they like to watch. Football was number one with 40% of the vote.

The top five sports pets like to watch are football, soccer, basketball, baseball, and golf. Bowling ranked last, followed by NASCAR.

68% of people in the poll described themselves as "sports fans." But 80% think their pet might be an even bigger sports fan than them. 26% also think their pet is a "lucky charm" when it comes to helping their team win.

Sports aren't the only thing cats and dogs like to watch though. 69% said their pets like watching TV with them in general.

The other top things pets like to watch are cartoons, nature shows, movies, and stand-up comedy.

I've had cats that enjoyed the Teletubbies (don't judge me) (I think it was the bird sounds..and he liked to paw at the credits that crawled on the bottom), and Meerkat Manor (I think he wanted to catch them.)

Today's Useless Fact of the Day - The entire province of Alberta, Canada has been rat-free for 70 years. The government there decided to get rid of rats around World War Two and they still have a pest control crew on the border to prevent any from coming in.
