Russian cosmonaut Oleg Kononenko has broken the world record for the most cumulative time spent in space, Russia’s space agency Roscosmos reported on Sunday.

The 59-year-old has now spent more than 878 days and 12 hours in space, surpassing fellow Russian Gennady Padalka, who set the previous record of 878 days, 11 hours, 29 minutes, and 48 seconds in 2015.

Kononenko has made five journeys to the International Space Station (ISS), dating back to 2008.

Reading an article on mobility, and one of the exercises you should do is so simple. Hang. That's it! It's actually a test doctors do for strength metrics. You should be able to go a minute and a half to two minutes. Try to work for that. (now you just have to find a place that you can hang from)

Another is when you're at your desk, try to sit on your legs and not your butt. That way, your back will be flat, your torso will be lifted and your shoulders will fall backwards.”

A simple stretch you can do while still at your desk is to put your arms out behind you, clasping your hands with your palms facing outwards. If you’re really tight in the shoulders, you can start with a bend in the elbows. Hold it for a minute.

Say goodbye to your landline.

Phone companies want to shift to newer infrastructure within the next few years, which means older copper wire-based lines will be phased out . . . in favor of more advanced technology like fiber optics that doesn't work with landlines.

In fact, AT&T just applied for a waiver that would allow it to stop servicing traditional landlines in California.

Landlines won't go away, but could become the more expensive option.

According to one expert, about 100 million landlines between business and residential are currently active in the U.S. . . . but only about 5% of them are expected to remain by 2030.

Burger King has just launched a new contest, where they're offering a $1 MILLION prize to the person who can come up with their next great "Whopper innovation."

They say Whoppers currently offer more than 200,000 possible customized combinations. (what?)

They didn't list many rules, although your submission can only have EIGHT toppings max.  You can't change the bun, or the burger patty, but those don't count toward the eight.

You can't use any allergens . . . like peanuts . . . and you can only pick "edible food items."

ou can send in up to three entries.  The deadline is March 17th.

An expert on longevity says five minutes a day might be all it takes to add years to your life.  Here are a few simple things that can improve your health and extend your life . . .

1.  Habit stacking.  Starting a new habit is hard.  But adding a new habit onto an existing one is easier.  You could add mindfulness to your morning coffee routine, or practice gratitude as you brush your teeth.

2.  Micro-meditations.  Checking in with yourself doesn't need to take long.  A simple technique is focusing on your breath as you inhale for a count of four . . . hold for a count of seven . . . and exhale for a count of eight.

3.  Five-minute workouts.  Research shows even short bursts of regular exercise can help keep you young.  Take a break from work and do some squats or wall sits, or take a brisk walk.  It can improve your whole day.

4.  Social interaction.  Instead of scrolling aimlessly at night, reach out to a few people you care about.  Connecting with friends can raise your levels of the "feel-good" hormone oxytocin, which has anti-inflammatory effects.

5.  Remember what matters.  Having a sense of purpose is linked to a longer life.  So spend a few minutes a day thinking about what your passions are.  It can "not only add more years to your life, but more life to your years."
