A new poll found we can now only survive a few HOURS without it before we go nuts.

The average answer was 5 hours and 11 minutes. After that, we'd really be jonesing. Over half of people said they'd barely communicate with anyone if they didn't have it.

People also said they'd only survive about 5 hours without access to a TV. But there are a few other gadgets we could go longer without.

As long as we had our phone, we could go three days without our laptop. And gamers said the same about their gaming consoles.

The poll found the average adult uses their phone for a total of 3 hours and 34 minutes a day.

Without it, 38% said they'd feel totally disconnected . . . 27% would feel isolated . . . and 25% would immediately feel lonely.

If you had a few extra hours every day, would you start a new hobby . . . just finish your normal daily obligations . . . or blow it playing video games?

In a new survey, 60% of Americans said there aren't enough hours in the day . . . and the average person needs FOUR MORE HOURS every day to get everything done.

When asked what you'd do with the extra time, 34% said they'd do household chores. Which is both a lame AND practical way of responding.

28% said they'd tackle larger projects that they usually don't have time to start. 20% said they'd spend more time doing hobbies and things they enjoy . . . and another 20% would use the time for extra sleep.

Others say they'd go back to school . . . or adopt a pet.

"The New York Times" talked to leading health experts, and asked them to name the top nutrition MYTHS they're sick of hearing . . .

Myth #1: Fresh fruit is healthier than frozen. Sometimes the canned stuff has added sugar. But in general, canned, frozen, and dried fruit have all the same nutrients as fresh fruit. And it's cheaper.

Myth #2: Plant-based milk is way healthier than cow's milk. It does have fewer calories and less fat. But cow's milk has more than twice the protein. Some of the plant-based versions also have added salt and sugar, so be careful.

Myth #3: Never give a toddler peanuts. We used to think eating them too early in life gave kids allergies. But now experts think it's the exact opposite. Feeding them stuff with peanuts in it might help them AVOID allergies.

Myth #4: It's really hard for vegetarians to get enough protein. As long as you eat a mix of veggies, it's easier than most people think. Nuts, grains, and beans have lots of protein.

Myth #5: Basic nutritional advice changes constantly. The basic advice hasn't actually changed much since the 1950s. Don't eat too much, and try to eat more plants than meat.

A&W poked fun at the M&M's chaos by announcing that, after 60 years, they'd dress their bear mascot Rooty in jeans because his lack of pants was "polarizing."

Fox Business picked it up, and complained about "cancel culture" . . . until A&W Tweeted, "Is now a good time to mention this is a joke?" (Really FOX News..don't you have fact checkers or something? Losers.)

Maybe we're being too hard on people who innocently lock themselves out of the house . . . naked.

Someone online said that their 20-year-old friend accidentally locked himself outside naked . . . and he was arrested and fined $200 because a lady across the street called the cops and complained.

So they polled the internet, and more than 1,500 people weighed in. 57% of people said you should NOT be punished if you accidentally lock yourself outside in the buff. 21% said it depends where you are . . . like if you're in an area with a school or something.

11% of people said you SHOULD be arrested, and 4% said it depends on the person.

But wait . . . HOW would you accidentally lock yourself outside naked? Seems like a very long series of unfortunate events . . . OR you were drinking. It sounds like the latter was the case with this person's "friend."
