Two-thirds of Americans claim the pandemic has turned them into a "germaphobe," according to a new survey. But if that's really true, we're not being very OCD about it.
Over half of people admit they don't always pay close enough attention to their own hygiene. So we might think we're germaphobes, but we're not really acting like it.
People were asked to name the body parts they ignore and don't clean enough, and some heavy hitters made the list.
1. Armpits. 31% said they sometimes let them get gross.
2. Ears. It actually tied for first with 31%.
3. Your back, 30%. Makes sense since it's hard to reach.
4. Nose, 29%.
5. Your Junk, also 29%.
6. Butt, 28%.
7. Face, 26%.
8. Feet, 20%. (I always figure they get washed cause all the soap gets to them)

Backwards . . . or "retro running" . . . has been around for a while. But it's trending right now because it supposedly burns more calories. Most sources we saw said 20 to 30% more. And it's also better for your knees. But it's also easier to trip and fall.
So would YOU be willing to try backwards running to get in shape? A new poll done in England found one in six people would give it a go. 70% said no way.

People are gross.
A 28-year-old woman in Ireland named Jess Taylor recently bought a used couch with her boyfriend, because their dog ruined their old one. They didn't want anything too nice, because it would just get trashed again.
Well they got their wish....sort of.
They ended up with a tan-and-brown two-seater that fit the bill. But they didn't find out what came with the couch until they lost their remote for the first time.
Jess's boyfriend reached down in the cushions to look for the remote, and felt something weird, so he pulled his hand back out and realized he was holding an entire handful of fingernails.
It turned out the couch was filled with thousands of nail clippings and there were plenty of toenails too.
Jen says the first thing they did was start gagging. But they're troopers, and decided to keep the couch.
They vacuumed the rest of the nails out. Jen says there were so many, it sounded like she was vacuuming up uncooked rice.

A guy named Adam Castle got stopped by police last Monday in Richmond, Kentucky and he knew he was in trouble.
He recently failed to show up to court for drug trafficking charges so he knew there were warrants out for his arrest, and decided to give cops a fake name.
He claimed his name was "Steven Clemmons," so they ran that name through their system and at first, he thought he tricked them.
But they ended up arresting him anyway because it turned out some guy named Steven Clemmons also had a warrant out for his arrest.
Adam 'fessed up while they were driving him to jail. He told them what his real name was, and listed the charges they should actually be arresting him for.
Now he's facing his original charges, plus a few new ones for identity theft and giving cops a fake name.

Today's Useless Fact of the Day - Today is Champion Crab Races Day. One of the most prominent organizations involved with crab racing is the National Crab Racing Association (NCRA), which was started by Jim Morgan in 1979. They put the crabs through a training program and the best ones go on to the crab racing circuit across the United States and in Canada.
Crabs compete in around 12 to 14 heat races, with the winner of each heat moving on to the championship race. Before a race, the crabs are clustered under an upside-down bowl that is at the center of a 6-foot diameter racing ring. The bowl is lifted and the crabs are off to the races, with the first one to cross outside of the ring being declared the winner. After the championship race, the owner of the winning crab receives an envelope of prize money.
