30 Years Ago - 1993 Whitney Houston released her fourth album My Love Is Your Love.
The album singles start with "When You Believe," an Oscar winning song for Best Original Song from The Prince of Egypt, a duet with Maria Carey. It peaked at #15, #3 AC, #33 R&B,
"Heartbreak Hotel" was second and written for TLC who rejected it. Faith Evans and Kelly Price sing on the song and it peaked at #2, #1 R&B and Club, #8 Mainstream Top 40, #3 Rhythmic.
"It's Not Right but It's Okay" won a Grammy for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance. The album version is very different from what Radio responded to. Thunderpuss did a remix that became a smash! Hot 100 #4, #1 R&B/Hip Hop and Club, #15 Rhythmic.
