35 Years Ago - 1990 MC Hammer released his third album Please Hammer Don't Hurt 'Em.

It received five nominations at the 1991 Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year, becoming the first hip-hop record to be nominated in this category.

"Here Comes the Hammer" made #54, #29 Club, #15 R&B/Hip Hop.
