35 Years Ago - 1989 Young M.C. released his debut album Stone Cold Rhymin'.

This came on the heels of the success of Tone Loc's hits that he penned.

Did I remember that Flea from Red Hot Chili Peppers played bass on the first two hits???

"Bust a Move" peaked at #7, #9 R&B/Hip Hop, #2 Rap and #5 Club. It won the  Grammy for Best Rap Performance.

"Principal's Office" made #33, #51 R&B, #9 Rap, and #47 Club.

"I Come Off" peaked at #75 and #35 Club.
