35 Years Ago - 1989 Roy Orbison released his twenty-second album Mystery Girl.

The album was completed a month before his death and was released posthumously.

The album was a huge success with songs co-written and produced by his Wilbury brothers Jeff Lynne and Tom Petty, and Bono and The Edge.

"You Got It" was the first single peaking at #9, #1 AC, #7 Country, and #2 Mainstream Rock.

"She's a Mystery to Me" was a #26 Mainstream Rock and #23 AC hit.

"California Blue" peaked at #44 AC and #51 Country.
