35 Years Ago - 1989 Tina Turner released her seventh solo album Foreign Affair.
The album fared better in Europe including making #1 in the UK.
It only made #31 in the US (such a shame, it's a great album)
The album was mostly produced by Dan Hartman.
The US singles were:
"The Best" with a sax solo by Edgar Winter peaked at #15. The song when written was offered to Paul Young but it was Bonnie Tyler who was the first to record it.
"Look Me in the Heart" peaked at #8 on the AC Chart.
This album definitely is as strong as her last two. Give it a listen.
