1988 - Forever Your Girl - Paula Abdul

35 Years Ago - 1988 Paula Abdul released her debut album Forever Your Girl.

At the time of the album's release, it was the most successful debut album of all time and was the first time an artist scored four US Billboard Hot 100 number-one singles from a debut album.

"Knocked Out" was the first single peaking at #41 but was #14 at the Clubs and #8 R&B.

"The Way That You Love Me" was the second single, and then re-released after the success of the next three singles and became a smash. Originally it made #88 (#18 Club #10 R&B) the re-release made #3.

"Straight Up" which won a Grammy for Best Music Video and was her breakthrough song. It peaked at #1 (#39 AC #3 Club #2 R&B.)

"Forever Your Girl" gave Paula another #1 (#28 Club #11 AC.)

"Cold Hearted" again topped the Hot 100 and #19 Club.

"Opposites Attract" was another #1 smash (#45 AC #24 Club #3 R&B.)

This song again won her a Grammy for Best Short Form Music Video.
